Expertise and drive - that's what Team works! stands for
From Usa River to Lake Constance
Oloshuku Mbukure Lerug, known as Ole in short, has coped well with the difference in temperature thanks to his new winter jacket. The 27-year-old physiotherapist from Usa River in Tanzania is experiencing winter this year in Gailingen near Lake Constance. He already knows his tandem partner and SES senior expert Dr Willy Zink well, as he has visited Ole's employer, the Usa River Rehabilitation and Training Centre, several times. Because the SES also implements the DAJW programme line Team works!, the idea came up quickly after the start in summer that Ole should do a job shadowing in Germany as a young professional. No sooner said than done!

For four weeks now, Ole has been interning at the Hegau-Jugendwerk rehabilitation centre, where he can expand his expertise in treatment strategies and device-based therapy approaches. In addition to assisting in therapy sessions, he is also getting an insight into working with and making prostheses. As a trained physiotherapist, he also already has some specialist knowledge and enjoys the exchange with colleagues in Germany.
