Partnerships with civil society
Teams up! works with civil society organisations to develop the programme further and target new groups.
The BMZ and Engagement Global consult with civil society representatives to seek advice on the future development of the Teams up! Youth Exchange for Sustainable Development programme. The partners meet to draw up strategies to ensure that civil society expertise is incorporated and the programme is better tailored to target groups’ needs.
Our strategic partner
Teams up! Youth Exchange for Sustainable Development is specifically looking to attract applicants from the realm of cultural education in order to reach target groups that have previously had little or no contact with development issues. This is why the programme works with the Federal Association for Child and Youth Cultural Education (Bundesvereinigung Kultureller Kinder- und Jugendbildung, BKJ).
The Federal Association for Child and Youth Cultural Education
- advises and assists its member organisations in the conceptual development of project ideas for Teams up!,
- provides know-how and professional expertise on combining expertise on how to combine cultural education projects with development issues and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and
- offers training and networking opportunities on the UN’s Agenda 2030 and its 17 SDG for implementing organisations and partners from the field of cultural education.
