Gemeinsam unterwegs
Seit dem Beginn der Begegnungen zwischen Jugendgruppen aus Mtae und Minden im Jahr 1996 ist die Idee entstanden, Jugendlichen als Weltbürger/innen Unterschiede und vor allem Gemeinsamkeiten in den Kulturen, den Religionen, der Wirtschaft und der Bildung, Auswirkungen der gemeinsamen Kolonialgeschichte erfahrbar werden zu lassen, mit ihnen fremde und eigene Entwicklungsziele zu reflektieren und dialogisch die Grundlagen eines Zusammenlebens im "Weltdorf" zu buchstabieren: Respekt, Wertschätzung der Andersartigkeit, Selbstreflexion.
Int. Jugendbegegnung zwischen Deutschland und Tansania
Das Pferd hat auf den Menschen eine persönlichkeitsbildende Wirkung. So können leicht Wissen und Werte vermittelt werden. In diesem Projekt werden die Nachhaltigkeitsziele und ihre Bedeutung für die globale Partnerschaft jungen Menschen vermittelt. Im Rahmen des Jugendaustausches zwischen Namibia und Deutschland werden somit durch nachhaltige Bildung die Nachhaltigkeitsziele im Alltag erlebt und der Beitrag jedes Einzelnen sichtbar gemacht.
#ExchangeForEquality
#ExchangeForEquality is an international youth encounter with a focus on SDG5: achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. The participants from Berlin and Nairobi explore the realities of girls and women in both countries by creating digital stories that can serve as advocacy tools. The project provides an opportunity for vibrant young people from both countries to take active part in furthering the achievement of SDG5 milestones as part of the 2030 Development Agenda.
Promotion of conservational and environmental awareness to future generations
The tremendously fast increasing environmental deterioration is a global concern. This development is accompanied by a general lack and decline of the interest in our natural environment. Stimulating the sense of responsibility in relation to nature in future generations may antagonize this process.Therefore, the project partners work with children of all ages to promote their environmental awareness. In combining these activities in a joint project the methodical and cultural exchange will enrich both project partners abilities to the benefit of the children and our environment.
Closing the Gap (after a pandemic) - Equality and an end to gender-based violence
Worldwide, the COVID pandemic had a negativ impact on the opportunities and development of young people but girls have often been exposed to higher risks. Both associations take a lead when it comes to girl's empowerment but now we need to step up for a change: The project will explore the reasons of gender equality and reasons why the gap of inequality might have widened during the pandemic, implement safe spaces, train girls. Participants will develop networks for safe and empowered girls and women and initiate their own action plans.
Community Changemaker 2030
Community Changemaker 2030 hat das Ziel, stärkenbasierte Methoden in der Partnerschaft zu verankern: Im Fokus steht das Training von Multiplikatoren und Mitarbeitern der beiden Organisationen im Bereich von ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development), Participatory Vedeo und Projekt Management. Beide Partner verfügen über Expertise, die sie in diesem Begleitprojekt miteinander teilen möchten. die Methoden sollen dazu dienen, lokale und internationale Aktivitäten im Bereich Community-Building, Jugendarbeit und Klimaschutz gemeinsam voranzubringen.
Africa - Europe Ecovillage Youth Exchange
We envision an exchange project for young adults involved in the ecovillage and environmental movements in Senegal and Germany, where we focus on racial and social justice, regenerative living and community culture. Through the exchange of culturally specific knowledge and collaborative learning, we connect and empower youth and explore steps towards healing and reconciliation between and within Africa and Europe.
IM-PORTS | EX-PORTS
Im Anschluss an das Projekt TRACES - eine theatrale Recherche zu kolonialen Spuren in Berlin und Lomé, macht das Theaterprojekt IM-PORTS | EX - PORTS die Häfen von Lomé und Hamburg zum Ausgangspunkt ihrer Recherche. 12 Junge Erwachsene aus Lomé und Hamburg begeben sich unter theaterpädagogischer Leitung auf die Suche nach kolonialen Spuren in den Häfen und fragen nach kolonialen Kontinuitäten in globalen Handelsbeziehungen, Produktionsketten und Konsummustern - und v.a. unseren Verstrickungen darin.
Superstars
Still today many girls have to struggle with inequality in society. These can be observed also in football. Young participants have to be sensitized about this topic, informed about SDG 5 and trained as multipliers so that they can continue to deal with the challenges later on. In order to achieve this goal, they need a stabile basis of knowledge, first hand experiences and empoweing moments . Vvisible result of this training should be that the learning content is passed on to other young people, form/formats will be decide by participants.
EduChange - Youth together for Quality Education
EduChange brings together 14 (future) professionals of the education sector from Cameroon and Germany. They shall be
trained as ambassadors for quality education and shall develop the digital platform EduChange to promote (intercultural)
exchange, support and the implementation of education-related projects.
Thanks to their participation they will not only be able to contribute themselves with their own small initiatives to Quality
Education but will inspire more young people to get engaged, too.
